Activities
There are plenty of possibilities for outdoors activities all year around in the surroundings of our Guesthouse.
You may enjoy walking in the forest, hiking in the wilderness, canoeing, fishing, rowing a boat, SUP boarding, swimming or just sit by the lake and enjoy the mid night sun and peacefulness around you.
In the winter time you may like ice fishing, walking with snow shoes or trying cross country skiing or driving with a snowmobile, the tracks are passing the front door of our Guesthouse. There is also a good possibility to see the Northern Lights during a clear winter night - standing on the lake ice offers the best view!
Especially in the spring sun, ice fishing is perhaps our favorite activity! You do not need permission to ice fishing at lake Rautusjärvi and we can rent you the right gear.
